Privacy notice
Last updated 1 October 2026
This notice explains how Tiger ICT Limited, which provides TigerHRM (“we”, “us”), uses personal information, both on this website and in the TigerHRM service that employers use to manage their staff. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Tiger ICT Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14850444. Registered office: Flat 13, 1 Jardine Road, Campania Building, London, England, E1W 3WD. Email info@tigerict.com with any question about your information.
Two different roles
- This website and our own customers’ accounts. When you contact us, start a trial or buy a subscription, we decide how your information is used. We are the controller.
- Staff records inside TigerHRM. When an employer uses TigerHRM to manage its employees, the employer decides what is recorded and why. The employer is the controller and we are its processor: we only use that information to provide the service, on the employer’s instructions. If you work for a TigerHRM customer and have a question about your records, please contact your employer first.
What we collect on this website
| Information | Why | Lawful basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you send through the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, company size and message | To reply to you, arrange a demo or answer your question | Legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) | Up to 2 years, then deleted automatically. Ask us and we’ll delete it sooner. |
| A partner’s referral code, if you arrived through a partner’s link | So the partner who introduced you is credited | Legitimate interests | As above, and with your account if you sign up |
| Technical information our servers record, such as your IP address and the pages requested | To keep the website secure and working, and to stop abuse of the contact form | Legitimate interests | A short time, for security only |
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. If you arrive through a partner’s link, the partner’s code is kept in your browser only until you close the tab.
The TigerHRM app itself uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in securely. These don’t need your consent and are never used for tracking.
When you use TigerHRM
For our customers’ own accounts (the people who sign up and manage TigerHRM for their company) we keep account details such as name, work email and sign-in records, and billing details needed to take payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
For the staff records employers keep in TigerHRM, we act only as a processor, as described above. We protect that information with:
- hosting in the UK, on Amazon Web Services in London, with nightly backups;
- encryption for every connection, and separate encryption for National Insurance numbers, bank details and pay rates;
- documents kept in a private store and opened only through short-lived links;
- two-step sign-in for every employer account;
- a record of who viewed or changed personal records;
- no storage of fingerprints: terminals keep those, and we record only the employee’s consent.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of trusted suppliers to run TigerHRM, each bound by a contract to protect the information:
| Supplier | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting, file storage, backups and sending email | United Kingdom (London) |
| Stripe | Taking subscription payments | UK and elsewhere, under Stripe’s safeguards for international transfers |
We will only share information with others if the law requires it, or with your permission.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. You can also object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@tigerict.com, or use the contact form and choose “Something else”. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
